SFA Board of Directors & Committee Co-Chair Nominations Now Open
The Structured Finance Association (SFA) is now accepting Board of Directors and Committee Co-Chair nominations for the upcoming 2025 term. These leadership roles are critical to advancing SFA’s mission of supporting the structured finance market and promoting responsible credit growth and economic development.
All nominations will be reviewed by SFA’s Nominating Committee, which will make recommendations to the current Board for the election of 2025 Directors and Committee Co-Chairs.
SFA Board of Directors
Each year, approximately one quarter of SFA’s Board rotates, with new members elected at our September board meeting. Nominees must be employed by an SFA member firm in good standing that is not currently represented on the Board*. Self-nominations are welcome.
Our Board is composed of senior professionals from across the structured finance industry who are committed to serving our members and engaging with public policymakers. When considering nominees, we encourage SFA members to think broadly about individuals who:
- Are knowledgeable about securitization and key market issues
- Can elevate SFA’s visibility within their firms
- Are supportive of our fundraising and member engagement efforts
- Understand the importance of strengthening the industry’s reputation in Washington, D.C.
Experience serving on other trade association boards is a strong plus.

SFA Committee Co-Chairs
We are also seeking nominations for Committee Co-Chairs for the 2025 term. SFA committees are collaborative, member-led forums that drive policy discussions and shape our advocacy agenda. Committee Co-Chairs play a key role by helping to:
- Set committee agendas
- Foster consensus across member firms
- Provide leadership and direction to their peers
Co-Chair terms are two years. Nominees must be employed by an SFA institutional member firm in good standing and may be nominated by others or self-nominated.*
